Gain a basic understanding of South East Water’s containment backflow prevention requirements and about classing recycled water (what is it, where is class A water available, and where is class A recycled water permitted to be used in the South East region).

Learn about meter assemblies for recycled water including location, meter arrangements and preparation for dry tappings, along with the plumbing for recycled water installations (pipes and fittings).

You will also develop your knowledge about making an application for Conditions of Connection (Single Residential Development).

You will complete the following nationally recognised unit of competency:
NWP410C Coordinate and monitor asset construction and maintenance

On successful completion of this course you will receive a Statement of Attainment and if you decide to progress to a nationally recognised qualification that includes the above unit, you will be able to get recognition of this prior learning.
