Explore the creative world of photography

This course is an opportunity to be part of the exciting and creative world of photography - both the Commercial and Fine Art perspectives.

Master the basic principles and craft of photography, from camera care, the elements of composition to landscape, portrait and night photography. This course will help you understand both the technical and creative requirements to take a good photograph. Photographers working in industry will guide you to develop an understanding of your digital SLR camera and its manual settings, and introduce you to basic lighting techniques.

What to Bring:
• Digital SLR camera (not a compact camera)
• Camera instruction manual
• Basic tripod

This course is a suitable introduction for students wanting to enter our Certificate IV in Photography and Photo Imaging (CUA41115) or Diploma of Photography and Photo Imaging (CUA50915).
