In Europe, 80 per cent of domestic and commercial building construction is done off site. Buildings are constructed in a factory in panel sections or room by room, assembled in a matter of days. Panelised buildings have a high energy rating and are sustainable and resource efficient.

Australia is taking up this modern way of building at a rapid rate. Employers are looking for semi-skilled, trained staff for their panel manufacture and on-site installation. This hands-on course will teach you the work-ready skills in panelised building construction that employers want. No experience is necessary. If you want to have an edge getting back to work or changing direction, this course is for you.

Learn in real workplace environments and on campus at Chisholm TAFE while completing six units of competency over a total of eighteen days full time.
After successfully completing this skill set you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the nationally accredited units:
