This course provides participants with information and practical skills in the collection and propagation of local indigenous plants from seeds and cuttings. It includes a range of seed collection and propagation techniques, storage, seed cleaning, and nursery hygiene.
This course is one of four Conservation and Land Management courses that can be undertaken as a short course, or if additional sessions are attended and assessments undertaken, can contribute to Chisholm's accredited course - Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management (AHC21010).
This short course is ideal for members of landcare groups, friends groups, school groups, landholders and residents.
Participants are required to attend 6 classes in total (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening classes, plus three day classes on consecutive Saturdays).
