If you’re a food business owner in Victoria, you must ensure your staff have the skills and knowledge to handle food safely. If your business is classified as Class 1 and Class 2, you must have a Food Safety Supervisor who is responsible for supervising all aspects of safely handling food. This course provides supervisors with the skills and knowledge to confidently manage food safety in the workplace.
Prerequisite: completion of the relevant industry Safe Food Handling course.
Assessment will be conducted as part of class activities. On successful completion of this course, students will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following nationally accredited unit of competency:
• SIRRFSA001 Apply retail food safety practices.
Participants must have a USI on the day of the course to be awarded the Qualification, USI’s can be obtained by going to https://www.usi.gov.au/
