Work towards gaining your registered electrical contractor's licence

This course covers the business component of the requirements to obtain registration as an electrical contractor, and meets the requirements set by Energy Safe Victoria for the Registered Electrical Contractors Licence.

You will cover the following topics: Running your own business - are you ready for this?, Business structures, Management and leadership, Customer service, Quality control, Insurance, Funding and Budgeting, Bookkeeping, Tax, Advertising and Marketing, Legal issues and Charge out rates.

An assessment is included in the course fee.

After successfully completing this course you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following nationally recognised unit of competency: UEENEEG175A - Develop compliance policies and plans to conduct an electrical contracting business.

Please note: There will be no classes on Monday 12 March, Monday 2 April, and Monday 11 June - 2018 public holidays.
