Introduction to digital painting for games and films

This short course is an introduction to Photoshop (or equivalent) digital painting for games and films, with emphasis on building a strong art and design foundation. Students will also be shown how to deconstruct the processes and techniques used by industry professionals to apply to their own work. Classes will cover visual illusions, composition, tonal value, colour & light and design with each theory backed by live demonstrations and paint-overs.

Ideal for art and design students wanting to push their artistic skills to the next level and break into the Entertainment Industry or transfer the knowledge to other design disciplines.

This is a simple and proven approach to image making, which will help students to take control of visual illusions in art and design.
