Knowing about and understanding a child's and their family's world beyond the early learning environment is paramount in providing a service that fosters relationships and support.

This short course will explore the benefits of building and maintaining strong partnerships with families and the community to support the care and education of children. It is designed for Early Education and care staff working in all areas of the sector.

The course will cover the following factors:

Developing and maintaining positive relationships and collaborative partnerships
Understanding the boundaries of the Educator
Assisting in growth of identity and belonging
Supporting vulnerable families
Unpacking the EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework) and NQS (National Quality Standard) in relation to connecting with families and the community
After successfully completing this course you will receive a Statement of Attendance.

Zoom sessions will be created by the short course coordinator or relevant teacher prior to the date of commencement.
Individual emails will be sent to all participants. Instructions will be included in the email in regards to zoom etiquette, requirements for the
specific course and login times.
Resources will also be included in this email.
