How to assist with medications

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to prepare and provide medication assistance, as well as learning how to complete medication documentation. You will also learn to support clients who need to self-administer medication.

The course is aimed at community services and health care workers with authority in their state or territory to assist with the administration of medication. Applicants must be currently employed in a relevant health care setting.

On successful completion of this course, students will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following unit of competency:
HLTHPS006 Assist client's with medications.

Students must attend 4 sessions to complete this course.

Frankston dates: Monday 28 August, Tuesday 29 August, Saturday 2 September and Saturday 9 September.
Berwick dates: Wednesday 2 August, Thursday 3 August, Saturday 5 August and Saturday 12 August.
