Update your chemical handling skills

This one day refresher course enables users of AgVet Chemicals to keep up to date with changes in chemical use, new legislation, and to be reminded about safety and best practice.

This course, designed to meet industry needs, is for people who work with chemicals in agriculture and horticulture as defined under the Agriculture and Veterinary Chemicals Act 1992.

Taught by highly regarded trainers, this program is a relevant and respected training course developed to suit changing industry needs.

Please Note: This is a refresher course and as such there is an assumption of knowledge which will be assessed on arrival to confirm this. By enrolling, you are agreeing that you have completed the initial course AgVet Farm Chemical Users Course. Evidence of having completed the course with nationally accredited units AHCCHM303 Prepare and apply Chemicals and AHCCHM304 Transport and store chemicals within the last five years will be required to be sighted at the commencement of the course. Additional costs may be charged if this refresher course is not passed at first attempt, and no refunds are given if students fail this course.

After successfully completing this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the nationally accredited unit of study: AHCCHM401 Develop procedures to minimise risks in the use of chemicals.
