Specialise in Work Health and Safety (WHS) and advance your career in the field

When you complete the Diploma of Work Health and Safety, you’ll have the confidence and ability to manage a WHS program across a broad range of industries. You’ll extend your understanding of WHS information and data systems, emergency procedures, hazard and risk management, incident investigation, project management, and research analysis.

This qualification is suitable for people who apply advanced practical knowledge to coordinate, facilitate and maintain the Work Health and Safety (WHS) program in one or more fields of work in an organisation, such as a WHS practitioner or HR practitioner. They may work under the guidance of an occupational health and safety professional.

To be eligible for the course you must hold the five core units from the Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety (BSB41415).

Please note that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing requirements, to continue your learning journey, this program will be delivered remotely where possible.

Participants will be required to engage with learning material online and via video conferencing software rather than attend classes. Refer to our COVID-19 Online Service Standards for details of minimum technical requirements and support available. While it is expected that the course duration will remain unchanged, it may be necessary to extend the completion date if circumstances change. Chisholm will be monitoring the situation closely and inform of any changes if the duration of a course is extended.
