Get started in a dynamic digital arts industry.

This dual qualification is a unique foundation program designed to multi-skill and introduce a hands-on and stimulating learning experience. The course is aimed at students wanting to pursue careers in games design (games art) and screen and media, including animation and film and video. The crossover of the two qualifications supports greater employment opportunities.

The foundation program aims to provide you with essential skills in the following areas: 3D modelling, animation, lighting, audio, camera craft, compositing and visual effects, visualisation and narrative.

The advantage of this dual qualification is its broad base of electives. Working with committed and experienced teachers with strong links to the games and screen industry. The program develops creativity along with technical know-how. In this one year course you will build fundamental technical and conceptual skills that translate into practical outcomes including a video show reel and a developed game.

This course is a direct pathway to the Diploma of Digital and Interactive Games (ICT50215) specialising in Games Art and The Diploma of Screen and Media (CUA51015)

Monday 10am - 6.30pm, Tuesday 9.30 - 4.30, Wednesday 9am - 4.30pm, Thursday 9am - 4.30pm and Friday 9am - 4.30pm
