During the course, you’ll learn how to communicate with business clients; participate in ICT services; apply industry specific technologies; action change requests; create technical documents; troubleshoot equipment; identify system and software faults; install and manage hardware, servers and internet protocol (IP) networks; deploy software to networked computers; select cloud strategies; Install and configure virtual machines; set up and secure a small office; manage network and data integrity; install and troubleshoot enterprise routers and switches; build a small wireless local area network (LAN) and follow workplace safety procedures.

When you complete the Certificate IV in Information Technology Support and the Certificate IV in Information Technology Networking, you’ll have the skills you need to install, manage and support small scale networks and ICT systems either as an independent network support technician or as part of a team.
