When you complete the Certificate III in Health Services Assistance and specialise as an operating theatre technician, you’ll be ready to work under supervision in a range of health care facilities.
You’ll learn about medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology, client service and care, handling waste, infection control procedures, moving clients safely, and effective communication in the workplace.
At Chisholm we offer flexible options to students wishing to complete the course outside of the stipulated intake dates. Get a head start in April or October in your course, enrol into core units and progress to joining disciplined course areas in January or July.
Frankston: Part time - Tuesday, Thursday 3.30pm to 9pm and some Saturdays 8am to 2.30pm.
