Learn the basics of working in a support role within an education setting

This nationally recognised qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of education settings, including public and independent schools and community education settings, who provide assistance and support to teachers and students under broad-based supervision.

The Certificate III in Education Support is available in 2019 through day or evening classes, traineeships and mixed mode delivery at Berwick, Dandenong, Frankston, Mornington Peninsula and Bass Coast campuses. Location and mode availability is subject to course demand.

You are required to complete a placement component of the course. Chisholm can assist in organising work placement within a variety of educational settings. If you are currently working or volunteering within an educational service, this setting could be used to achieve placement requirements.

This course is covered by the Free TAFE initiative

Free TAFE for Priority Courses is a Victorian Government program that covers your tuition fees to study in this course, if you’re eligible, from 1 January 2019. Note that you will still need to pay other fees such as student services or materials fees.
