  Learn from industry leading trainers with extensive industry experience. Our industry partners work closely with students on training days to share emerging trends and innovations in the industry. The course is designed in three parts:
  
  - Learn practical foundation skills to help you work confidently in the construction industry
  
  - Hands on training across a range of different applications from bathrooms to balconies to learn best practice.
  
  - Learn skills to start your own business such as how to estimate and quote, and increase your knowledge of taxation, superannuation, financial requirements and more.
  
  All of these skills along with industry experience will set you on the path to registration with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA).
  
  INHERENT REQUIREMENTS
  
  Entry requirements for literacy and numeracy range from levels one to two.
  
  Students need to have sufficient mobility and dexterity to navigate simulated building sites (including working at heights) and manual handling of Waterproofing materials, tool and equipment.
  
  Students must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, eye protection and Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE)) for prolonged periods.

• Admission requirements

  Applicants need to have sufficient mobility and dexterity to navigate simulated building sites (including working at heights) and manual handling of Waterproofing materials, tool and equipment., Entry requirements are ACSF exit level 1 - working level 2 for literacy, numeracy and reading, In addition, this course entails students handling and applying hazardous waterproofing chemicals., Students must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, eye protection and Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE)) for prolonged periods.
