This is an accredited apprenticeship course, which involves a competency-based assessment program that can be undertaken in the workplace, at Chisholm, or a combination of both.

During the course, you'll learn about workplace safety and equipment, and gain hands on experience in areas such as body panel repairs, welding procedures and vehicle misalignment repairs.
Experienced teachers, who are experts in the field, will guide you through the program, which involves a combination of practical study and theory that is assessed at the end of each unit of competency.
This nationally recognised qualification may lead to employment in roles such as a panel beater or automotive tradesperson.
The course can be completed part time over three years, in conjunction with on the job training or in the workplace or onsite applications. A training plan can be negotiated with employers to suit their requirements.
Once complete, you can develop your skills further with Chisholm’s Certificate IV in Automotive Technology.

Annual scholarships may be available to eligible students suffering financial hardship through the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation.
