This course may be the ideal choice if you have worked in health in the past and are looking for a return to the health sector.
As the demand for therapy programs in hospital and community settings rise, allied health assistants will play an increasingly important role in the rehabilitation of clients and patients, and promotion of optimal health outcomes.
During the course you’ll gain industry specific training in basic medical terminology; client movement; infection control; client services; and assisting with an allied health program. You will also build numeracy, literacy, personal development and work related skills.
A minimum of 80 hours of work placement is required to complete this course which will be arranged by Chisholm Institute.
