Learn more about horticulture and set yourself up for a career in the great outdoors

When you complete the Certificate II in Horticulture, you’ll have the knowledge and skills required to carry out a variety of horticultural tasks, working under some supervision.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in areas such as plant recognition, plant pest and weed treatments, basic soil properties, propagation, irrigation, planting, pruning and assistance with landscape construction.

Free TAFE for Priority Courses is a Victorian Government program that covers your tuition fees to study in this course, if you’re eligible, from 1 January 2019. Note that you will still need to pay other fees such as student services or materials fees.
