Study a La Trobe Bachelor of Early Learning through our partnership

La Trobe University's Bachelor of Early Learning is available to students who have successfully completed Chisholm's Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. This means that on successful completion of your diploma, you will pathway into year two of the Bachelor of Early Learning.

On completion of this course you'll be qualified to teach children from birth to five years old in early childhood settings, working in early learning centres, kindergartens, preschools and early intervention programs.

The Bachelor of Early Learning is completed online either part time or full time with the support of face-to-face tutorial support available to Chisholm/La Trobe students.

The Bachelor of Early Learning Tutorial Support (BELTS) program has been designed to support graduating Chisholm Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care students continuing with the La Trobe Bachelor of Early Learning (BEL).

In BELTS, Bachelor of Early Learning students are offered two face-to-face tutorial sessions each month at Chisholm’s Dandenong location. Each session lasts for two hours and is held on Saturday mornings, allowing working early childhood educators the opportunity to attend outside of work hours.

BELTS is free. Students must, however, be enrolled in La Trobe’s Bachelor of Early Learning to access it.
