The Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media is a hands on course focused on film, video and television. The course is designed for students who want to extend basic skills to the advanced level for entry into industry. Students have the opportunity over a two year period to develop pre-production, production and post-production skills required in a fast growing screen and media industry.

Pre-production includes a focus on story telling with images and sound design, editing and mixing. The program provides instruction in all aspects of visual storytelling for live performance and for small and large screen production.

Production includes creative and technical skills across several roles such as camera, lighting and sound recording.

Post-production builds skills with editing including technical and creative skills. Students work under the guidance of industry professionals. This includes short films, video, television, and interactive media industries- animations and visual effects.
