Breathing Apparatus

This safety short course for operators of self contained breathing apparatus will teach you to correctly inspect, assemble, maintain and operate the apparatus in a safe and competent manner. On successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following nationally accredited unit of competency: MSMWHS216 Operate breathing apparatus.

The course content covers:
• correct assembly procedures
• safety inspection
• correct operational procedures
• correct close down procedures
• duration calculations.

This four-hour course can be undertaken at Chisholm or at a client’s workplace if there are at least eight and no more than 10 particpants.
