Begin an engineering career in emerging technologies while you complete your secondary school studies

This scored VCE VET course is designed to introduce students to the theories and practices necessary to enhance their future studies and employment prospects
in the engineering or engineering related industries. It introduces students to mechanical and thermal cutting, marking out, welding principles, fabrication,
forming and shaping techniques, general machining, computing and computer-aided drafting, and workplace safety.

Requirement is that the student have Year 10 English & Maths

Learning outcomes
Structured Workplace Learning (SWL)
SWL is not mandated in this program, though the VCAA strongly recommend all VET students undertake some work placement. The VCAA strongly recommends a minimum of 80 hours.
