Certificate II In Automotive Vocational Preparation

Start training for a career in the automotive industry focusing on mechanical skills while completing your secondary school studies

This course is designed to introduce students to the theory and practice of automotive maintenance and repair in a hands-on learning environment,and focuses on providing students with simulated practical work experiences, employability skills and career pathways into the automotive industry as an apprentice.

Learning outcomes
Structured Workplace Learning (SWL)
SWL is not mandatory, though the VCAA strongly recommend a minimum of ten days work placement for each year of this program.

Admission requirements

Have a demonstrated capacity in reading ,writing, numeracy, oracy and learning to level 2 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), Year 10 level of maths and english preferred
