Learn skills to support children with challenging behaviours
Guiding the behaviour of children in the Early Education and Care setting can be challenging for even the most experienced professionals. A strength based approach offers a new perspective, looking at challenging situations whilst respecting a child's dignity, rights, similarities and differences.
During the session participants will be provided with guidance in completing behaviour management plans and how to work collaboratively as a team and with famillies to achieve successful outcomes.
This course covers:
• challenging behaviour and its causes
• strategies to reduce negative behaviours
• how to provide environments that work with you to encourage and guide positive behaviours
• suggestions for meaningful interactions for children.
After successfully completing this course you will receive a Statement of Attendance.
