Learn skills to prepare you for the workforce
If you’d like to work in the police force, defence force, nursing, or as a protective services officer (PSO), this course is for you. You’ll learn how to prepare for selection examinations by refining your literacy, writing, reasoning, problem solving and mathematical skills.
These classes are held as flexible delivery options during the day and/or evening. You may:
. Attend classes in the evening
. Access relevant units and may work independently in the Individual Learning Centre 9am - 12pm Monday to Friday (for up to 20 hours)
. And/or work from home at any time
Assistance from teaching staff on campus is available at the Individual Learning Centre or at the evening classes. All students must attend the first lesson on campus which includes orientation.
Recommended: Minimum Year 10 level to meet the literacy and numeracy requirements of the course.
On successful completion you’ll receive a Statement of Attendance and have the skills you need to complete the selection examination.
