The life drawing for beginner's course supports the fundamentals of figure drawing and drawing from life.
Concentrating on gestural poses as well as extended positions, this course provides practical guidance designed to assist you to draw live models more accurately and with confidence to be more expressive when drawing.
Through a series of demonstrations, activities, in-class drawing, group critiques and individual assistance from the teacher, you will see a progression in your drawing skills, whilst gaining knowledge about drawing materials, composition, understanding anatomy and gestural mark making.
By the end of this five-week course, you will have a portfolio of drawing and sketches and a better understanding and skills to draw the human form.
