Specialise in the field of sport and recreation and inspire others to get active and learn new skills
When you successfully complete this combined sport (development and coaching ) and sport and recreation management course, you’ll be ready to work in the sport and recreation industry or continue into a range of degree studies. The course has two streams - one for students interested in a generic sport and recreation program to help them identify and prepare for a range of roles within the industry. The second stream is linked to Chisholm's Sports Academy which assists aspiring athletes to reach their full potential in sport and study while providing them the skills and knowledge to gain employment in the sports industry.
During the course, you’ll learn about sports psychology, sports science, sport and recreation program development, group facilitation, event management, sports management, project management, coaching, talent identification and selection, sports technology and developing training programs.
Some students may be eligible for a discount on the Diploma of Sports (Development and Coaching) tuition fees. Speak to us to find out more.
