Deepen your massage and myotherapy skills
Our Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy will continue to build the knowledge and skills gained in our Diploma of Remedial Massage. It provides in depth theoretical information, advanced skills and relevant practical facilitation.
Learn specialist skills in:
• Advanced physical, orthopaedic and neuro-dynamic assessment techniques and treatment planning strategies
• Evidence based myotherapy treatment techniques (such as myofascial dry needling, joint mobilisation, cupping and TENS)
• Functional anatomy and corrective exercise prescription
• Research and evidence based analysis and application
• Business development and legal compliance.
Assess and treat real members of the public under guidance of our experienced clinic supervision team in our Student Massage Clinic.
Once successfully completed, you’ll go from qualified remedial massage therapist to myotherapist in your own practice or as part of a health clinic. You’ll be eligible for professional association membership and can register as a myotherapy provider with all major health funds.
TIMETABLE:
Monday and Wednesday - hours subject to timetable.
You’ll complete 75 hours of supervised practical placement in our Myotherapy Clinic working on real clients. These hours are a fixed component and timetabled into the course.
All practical and clinical content is delivered on campus.
This courses include practical placement, is nationally recognised by professional associations and peak bodies, allowing you to register as a Myotherapy provider.

Courses may close prior to the start date if the maximum numbers are reached. In that situation, eligible applicants will be offered a place in the next available intake.
