The Centre for Vocational Pathways provides a diverse range of programs for local students wanting to improve their English language, literacy and numeracy skills or to undertake a range of access programs such as VCAL, VCE, Liberal Arts or Work Education in order to go on to further study or to employment. The Centre also offers a number of Indigenous programs.
The Centre provides an adult learning environment. Courses are delivered in state of the art facilities with excellent resources and access to an Individual Learning Centre and a Languages Laboratory for language learners. Staff are highly qualified and committed to the success of their students. The students of the Centre enjoy their time at Chisholm because of the friendly atmosphere and the ongoing support they receive from staff. Students come to the Centre looking for personal fulfilment, building confidence and developing new skills which will help in finding future employment both locally or internationally or access to further study either at Chisholm or elsewhere.
As well as the ongoing courses offered by the Centre customised training can be developed for particular clients and groups. The Centre delivers a number of programs under contract such as the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations funded Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program and the Workplace English Language and Literacy Program to industry clients.
