Chisholm's Allied Health Training Unit is designed to be one of the best learning centres in Australia. Top class equipment includes treatment beds, resistance aids, exercise bikes, hoists, steps and walking bars. Here students can build their skills to provide the highest level care for aged patients with basic or more complex needs.
Chisholm is one of the leading providers of Aged Care training in Victoria and has the facilities to match. Our students benefit from using a full range of appropriate equipment identical to that used in the workplace, which gives them an advantage in developing their skills.

Under the umbrella of Chisholm Bass Coast is a specialist training facility at Phillip Island, established through a partnership with Phillip Island Nature Parks.
Chisholm Bass Coast offers full training resources for people wanting to move into a career in Children's Services.
Bass Coast provides training services for the vital area of Community Services and works closely with local independent and Government organisations to facilitate programs.
Course hours per week maybe less than full time but take longer to complete.

What will it cost me if I qualify for a government subsidised place?
In 2012 the government will pay majority of the cost of your training, if you are eligible.
The Victorian Government will continue the $100 tuition fee for all TAFE Diploma and Advanced Diploma students who are under 25 years old on 1 January, 2012 and who are listed on a Commonwealth Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veterans' Gold Card at the time of their enrolment.
The new $100 tuition fee only applies to students who enrol in a Diploma or Advanced Diploma course from 1 February 2011, or who are entering a second or consecutive year of study. This reduces the tuition fee from a possible $2,500 to just $100 for those eligible students.
Please note: The above fees do not apply to Fee for Service courses.

You will still pay some fees depending on the course category and now that we can offer elegible students VET FEE HELP loans or Staged Payment Plans, learning is even more affordable.

To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.
With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases, you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
