  • Notes

Chisholm Bass Coast, in partnership with the Phillip Island Nature Park, has introduced the first Vocational Graduate Certificate in Ecotourism Management. The qualification combines the science of ecotourism with business management to give graduates a greater knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the economic and environmental factors required to operate a successful and sustainable ecotourism organisation.

A key feature of this qualification is the residential project-based component at the internationally acclaimed Phillip Island Nature Parks. Through these one-week residential projects graduates will experience and learn from the best practice of ecotourism and nature conservation experts in the fields of science, environmental conservation, research, retail, hospitality, resort tourism and business management. This qualification is ideal for long-term tourism, environmental conservation or ecotourism workers who either don’t have a qualification or want to further develop their existing qualifications.

Entry requirements: No formal requirements. Ideally, you are working in a related industry field such as ecotourism, conservation, sustainability, zoo, tourism or hospitality.
