    You can now enrol and study both the Diploma of Training & Assessment (TAA), which is a national industry vocational qualification, and the Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET) Practice, which is designed for TAFE teachers.

    You will need to study and successfully complete 13 units plus the teaching practicum (specific to the Diploma of VET Practice) over a 12 month period to gain the dual qualifications.

    Study is through a combination of face to face and online delivery as well as a teaching practicum.

    You will be able to:
    - analyse and plan approaches to training and assessment problems
    - apply creative thinking to a range of situations
    - evaluate information
    - demonstrate a broad knowledge of theoretical concepts in relation to the education of others

    Entry requirements: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAA40104).

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
