    Training for this hands-on program is usually undertaken in an office environment where the planning of tourism products and services take place, in the field where tourism products are delivered, or a combination of both.

    The field includes any destination, local or regional area, tourist precinct, site, attraction or onboard form of transportation.

    Areas of study include: Events; Food and Beverage; Human Resource Management; Inventory;and, Occupational Health & Safety.

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
