    If you have an interest in management, and want to learn how to become an effective manager, this course will give you the skills and knowledge you need. You will learn how to show leadership in the workplace, implement operational plans and promote team effectiveness.

    You can choose to study electives in financial reporting, customer service strategies and prioritising work. You can also undertake studies in identifying risk and applying risk management processes. Specific areas of study include Operational planning, Team effectiveness, Work priorities, Workplace safety, Workplace information systems, Continuous improvement, Implementation of customer service strategies; and, Innovation and change.

    Chisholm's Bass Coast campus offer Certificate IV in Frontline Management as a traineeship, which may take up to 12 months to complete. Classes are delivered both on campus and at the Phillip Island Koala Conservation Centre.

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
