    The Certificate III in Science is a preliminary course designed to lead into vocationally orientated programs. It not only gives students tangible pathways into other TAFE courses, but ensures that the mathematics and science undertaken meet the requirements of a number of industries such as laboratory sciences, health sciences and computing technology. On completion, students may enter a number of certificate and diploma courses. Areas of study include: biology; chemistry; physics; mathematics; computing; study skills; and occupational health and safety.

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
