    Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology (Games Creation)

    If you want to design and develop basic computer and video games, this course is for you.

    When you complete the Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology (Games Creation), you’ll have the confidence to work in the dynamic and ever growing games industry.

    During the course, you’ll learn about games modelling using a variety of technologies and applications, such as Google Sketchup, Unreal Development Kit (UDK) and Enterprise Applications.

      Experienced teachers, who are experts in the field, will guide you through the program, which involves a combination of theory and practice.

      This nationally recognised qualification may lead to employment in technical support roles, assisting with software, web based applications and basic information and communications technology (ICT) administration.

      The course can be completed part time over one and a half years or full time over six months.

      Once complete, you can develop your skills further with Chisholm’s Certificate IV in Digital and Interactive Games, Digital Media Technologies or Web Based Technologies (online).

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
