    This qualification is appropriate for a person providing website support and technical support of web based applications. This role includes providing IT advice to clients, providing basic website administration, maintaining websites, PC support and network administration.

    As well as core units of study, there are many specialist elective units to select from.

    Course framework is total number of units = 17, which includes 6 core units plus 11 elective units. The elective units chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.

    Entry requirements: No formal requirements. Trainees must have a ‘Registered Training Agreement’ with their employer.

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.
