    This course provides basic vocational training for those wishing to pursue a career in commercial cookery. Units studied gain credits towards the Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery). Areas of study include: Commercial cookery; Communication skills; Catering control and Supervisory skills.

    Entry requirements: Certificate II in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) or equivalent.

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
