    Graduates of this course may have some responsibility for others and provide technical advice and support to a hospitality team. Successful completion provides a pre-requisite pathway into the Diploma of Hospitality.

    Areas of study include: Finance, Customer service skills, Marketing and administration, Stock control, Food handling, Food safety and regulations, Occupational health and safety; and, Leadership and supervisory skills.

    Entry requirements: Year 10 or equivalent, or mature age.

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
