    This qualification is designed to reflect the role of those who perform some complex or non-routine activities involving individual responsibility or autonomy or collaboration with others as part of a team.

    The qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway.

    Also delivered as a VET in Schools program. This will offer the school student the opportunity to undertake a Certificate III qualification whilst completing their year 11 and year 12 VCE or VCAL studies. You study one day a week for two years at Chisholm Dandenong undertaking studies in waxing, manicure and pedicure, make-up and business, communications and retail.

    Entry requirements: Year 11 (VCE) preferred or mature age. Trainees must have a registered 'Contract of Training' with their employer.

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
