  • Notes

    The course is designed for people aged 15+ who have an interrupted or incomplete education. It consolidates and extends basic literacy, numeracy and vocational skills previously mastered, or achieved through Certificate I in General Education for Adults.

    At this level, skills developed enable a student to move directly to entry level vocational studies or to the Certificate III in General Education for Adults with an intention of subsequently accessing more academic study.

    Entry requirements: Attendance at an interview.

  • Career Path

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
