    The course has been designed to focus on digital literacy and basic office skills.

    You'll learn how to operate a personal computer, access the range of information available on the internet, communicate via email, use digital devices and productivity tools.

    You'll also learn the software applications within Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

    This qualification is mapped to the International Computer Drivering Licence (ICDL) which will enable you to complete the certification assessment.

    No prior knowledge of computers is assumed.

    Entry requirements: No formal qualifications.

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
