    This course aims to produce graduates who not only possess the ever expanding suite of technical skills expected of the contemporary design practitioner, but also an understanding of the process of conceptualisation and creativity that will serve to distinguish them as artists of unique vision and innovation in visual communication and design.

    The degree requires students to become creative, inquiring, reflective and resilient practitioners who can demonstrate work-ready and business relevant skills.

    The expertise gained by graduates will provide access to career positions in, but not confined to, graphic design, publishing, web, multimedia, film, marketing and advertising industries.

    Entry requirements: Year 12 (VCE) with minimum score of 25 in English. Or mature age with relevant industry experience.

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
