    Project management is a challenging and exciting job because of the uncertainty and uniqueness that comes with each new project. Project managers have an opportunity to stretch themselves by venturing into the unknown.

    The course presenters have considerable project management experience both in Australia and overseas.

    You will have the opportunity to network with others from a range of industries, and to share strategies for resolving issues.

    The course content and assessment tasks will reflect and address issues which transcend organisational boundaries and industries, as well as sessions in Microsoft Project 2007.

    You will develop skills in: analysis, design and executing judgements using wide-ranging technical, creative, conceptual or management competencies. Case studies will be relevant to a range of industries.

    Entry requirements: Diploma of Project Management or extensive experience in the leadership of projects and teams.

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
