    Chisholm offers the Practitioner stream of this course which focuses on providing students with knowledge and skills to work with clients with complex needs. Students undertaking this qualification need to have previous experience in the disability sector at a substantial level of depth involving the self-directed application of knowledge. They includes exercising independent judgement and decision-making at work and will have a range of technical and other skills. The course is tailored to individuals in positions of management or co-ordination.

    Entry requirements: Mature age entry with previous experience in the disability sector at a management or co-ordinator level.

    You must attend an information session prior to enrolling.

    Applying and Enrolling

    To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.

    With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases,  you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
