Adam Bechard
International student, Adam Bechard’s entry to an engineering position in the US Navy has been accelerated to the front of the queue due to completing a two year Diploma of Engineering Technology course at Chisholm Dandenong.
An international student from the USA, Adam visited Australia two years ago to see some of his family who live here, liked what he saw in climate, lifestyle and curriculum study in the Chisholm diploma course and decided to stay.
“It’s been a very successful course for me and one which has really skilled-me-up with a variety of flexible skills that I can apply right away in industry. Because I am joining the Navy, it has given me huge head start and the opportunity to apply my knowledge in many different engineering fields.”
Adam's high success rate in exams and practical during the course has seen him excel at both electrical and mechatronic engineering.
He’s also been through Chisholm’s structured and practical learning in hydraulics, pneumatics, and programmable logic controls.
No stranger to pulling mechanical things apart and putting them back together as a youngster, Adam's quest for knowledge got a real work out during the Diploma of Engineering course.
“Chisholm has excellent teachers and class facilities and I found the environment an excellent place to learn in.”
