The National Water Resource Training Facility features a treatment facility with a training space and equipment where technical training can be delivered in treatment processes such as Ion Exchange and Reverse Osmosis. The facility also has infrastructure to enable training in disinfection, clarification, ph correction, media filtration and ultra filtration. Chisholm has allocated a dedicated industry research space within the facility.
Chisholm Mornington Peninsula runs Conservation and Land Management programs and offers unique facilities for students and industry. The horticultural training complex at Mornington Peninsula includes several green houses/igloos, a turf management training facility and sports turf assessment areas.
Chisholm is one of the leading providers of Conservation and Land Management training in Victoria. Chisholm Cranbourne, Mornington Peninsula and Berwick all run land environment programs and offer unique facilities for students and industry. Cranbourne is the location of the Centre for Sustainable Water Management, which incorporates a nautral wetlands created and built by students.
The driving philosophy behind Chisholm’s land environment training is to present you, as a student, with a wide range of scenarios and experiences. The outcome? You become more flexible, and you're able to make better choices as you move on in your career.
Chisholm works closely with industry where productivity skills are increasingly important. In the area of water management for example - knowing when to water and how much to water for optimum output and balance. Increasingly, information technology is used to assist in achieving this balance.
Course hours per week maybe less than full time but take longer to complete.

Are there any eligibility exemptions?
Some exceptions apply for certain cases of individuals.
Students enrolling in a govt-subsidised course up to Cert IV who hold a current Commonwealth Healthcare Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veterans' Gold Card (or who are the dependent spouse of a cardholder) are eligible for concessions.Students who were under 25 at Jan 1 2012, and are continuing in the diploma or advanced diploma they enrolled in prior to July 1, 2012, will also be eligible for a concessions if they hold a current Commonwealth Healthcare Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veterans' Gold Card (or are the dependent a cardholder). Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders will be eligible for concessions for any level course. Full details about concessions

To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.
With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases, you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
