Chisholm has excellent, purpose built Children’s Services training centres at Berwick, Frankston and Bass Coast. These locations include modern classrooms, special purpose activity rooms and sheltered outdoor play areas.
Chisholm Bass Coast offers full training resources for people wanting to move into a career in Children's Services.
At Chisholm you can learn the theoretical and practical skills, gaining the qualification you need, to fulfil your vocation to work in the Children's Services sector. As a Chisholm graduate you are assured your qualification is recognised throughout the industry because the standard of our education is second to none.
Chisholm offers a range of courses to meet your Children's Services training requirements. For instance, we can help you attain a Children’s Services qualification at Certificate III level, enabling you to work as a qualified assistant in various children’s services settings or a Family Day Care Provider.
If you’ve set your sights on team leader or a senior position in a Children’s Services centre, we can help you earn your Diploma in Children's Services. Students who want to progress further into early childhood training or teaching can gain credits into University courses through established Chisholm pathways.
Whatever your situation, Chisholm can help you because we provide flexible learning options. This can be a combination of in the classroom, online or workbooks. Together with practical placements, the opportunity is there to study in a way that works best for you.

Concessions are currently under review subject to the offical announcement from the Victorian Government and the impact of the State Budget on ongoing funding for the VET sector.
You will still pay some fees depending on the course category and now that we can offer elegible students VET FEE HELP loans or Staged Payment Plans, learning is even more affordable.

To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.
With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases, you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
