Chisholm has dedicated waxing rooms at both its Berwick and Frankston campuses to ensure that Beauty students at both locations have access to the best possible facilities.
The nail technology room at Chisholm Dandenong is stocked with the latest equipment to provide students with a ‘real world’ training experience. As part of their training, our highly skilled students provide clients with a range of hair, nail or other beauty treatments under the expert guidance of our trainers. This boosts confidence and reinforces skills, as well as providing the opportunity to hone their customer service.
The state-of-the-art Spa Salon in the Department of Beauty Therapy at Chisholm Berwick includes Advanced Hydrofusion multi-sensory spa capsules. These capsules features the very latest in treatment technology, including multiple heat sources, a variety of Vichy shower and water massage systems and vibration massage.
Chisholm offers you the skills you need to begin your career in beauty therapy, from basic training right through to the skills you need to manage a salon.
There is continuing strong growth in the multi-faceted Australian beauty industry. Career opportunities range from day spas to beauty salons, wellness centres, resorts, retail, film, stage, television and advertising. Your career can advance to setting up your own salon or spa business, forming a partnership, or teaching.
Course hours per week maybe less than full time but take longer to complete.

How do I apply for a course
When you choose your course on the course detail page you’ll find an 'enquire now' button.
Concessions are currently under review subject to the offical announcement from the Victorian Government and the impact of the State Budget on ongoing funding for the VET sector.
You will still pay some fees depending on the course category and now that we can offer elegible students VET FEE HELP loans or Staged Payment Plans, learning is even more affordable.

To enrol at Chisholm, you need to apply, and then be accepted. Procedures to apply for courses vary. A TAFE application may go through VTAC, for example. In other cases the application may be direct to Chisholm or through your employer or school.
With a successful Chisholm Institute of TAFE application, in some cases, you may need to attend an information session or submit a portfolio prior to completing your enrolment.
